PRESENTACIÓN

Desde pequeña, siempre me atrajo el dibujo y el arte era mi actividad favorita en el colegio.

La verdadera revelación ocurrió cuando, embarazada de mi tercer hijo, mi madre me invitó a un taller de pintura.

Desde la primera clase, supe que había encontrado mi verdadera pasión. Mi trayectoria artística me ha llevado a explorar la pintura en Argentina, Chile y Uruguay, y también he incursionado en la escultura en el taller de Mónica Sartori, “la Colo”. Mi estilo está influenciado por mi amor por la naturaleza, especialmente el mar, que me fascina. Tengo una colección dedicada al mar y, más recientemente, he explorado la abstracción a pedido de mi hija Ita, utilizando texturas y materiales orgánicos. Mi trabajo actual abstrae los mares al llegar a la costa, usando colores neutros y elementos naturales para transmitir la esencia del paisaje marino.

Actualmente, estoy inmersa en el mundo de la abstracción a través de la experimentación con texturas. Me inspiro en el mar, viento, navegar, vuelo, libertad, utilizando una paleta de colores neutros y materiales orgánicos como té, café, yerba, arena y cenizas. Estos materiales no solo aportan una calidad única a las obras, sino que también presentan desafíos en términos de manipulación y combinación, ya que cada uno tiene sus propias características y reacciones.

INTRODUCTION

Since I was a child, I was interested in drawing and art was my favorite activity at school.

The real revelation came when, expecting my third child, my mother invited me to a painting workshop.

From the very first class, I knew I had found my true passion. My artistic career has led me to explore Painting in Argentina, Chile and Uruguay, and I have also ventured into sculpture in the workshop of Monica Sartori, “la Colo”. My style is influenced by my love for nature, especially the sea, which fascinates me. I have a collection dedicated to the sea and, more recently, I have explored abstraction by request of my daughter Ita, using organic textures and materials. My current work abstracts the seas as they reach the coast, using neutral colors and natural elements to capture the essence of the seascape.

Currently, I am immersed in the world of abstraction through experimentation with textures. I am inspired by the sea, wind, sailing, flight, freedom, using a palette of neutral colors and organic materials such as tea, coffee, grass, sand and ashes. These materials not only bring an unique quality to the works, but also present challenges in terms of manipulation and combination, as each has its own characteristics and reactions.

tallando y modelando la materia con el dibujo, desconcentrando nuestra atención hacia  varios focos.

La luz encuentra salidas,

entre lo abstracto y lo que es fácilmente reconocible.

En nuestra mente las ideas emergen

expandiéndose a través de las emociones.

El sentir nos recorre y termina siendo materia,

a través de las acciones.

In our mind, ideas emerge

expanding through emotions.

Our feelings live in us becoming  real matter,

through our actions.

La artista juega con la mirada,

para perderse en viajes hechos de sensaciones.

The artist plays with her insight,

to get lost in trips made of sensations.

Recorridos que son metáforas de meditaciones,

componen un todo armónico.

En el hacer, Estela se va encontrando a sí misma.

Passages that are meditations and metaphors,

they compose a harmonious whole.

While doing, Estela finds herself.

Sentir no está de más,

dejarse ir tras las texturas.

Las líneas son la fuerza que mueve,

la conexión visual que está brindándonos

posibles lecturas de su obra.

Feelings are allowed,

to let yourself go after texture.

The lines are the force that moves,

the visual connection that is giving us

possible readings of her work.

En las profundidades,

está la clave de lo que queremos ver.

Sólo sumergirnos en sus obras nos acerca

al conocimiento de sus razonamientos.

Deeping Inside,

we find the key of what we want to see.

Only to immerse ourselves in his works get us to know

 her reasonings.

Una percepción íntima,

genera múltiples probabilidades,

probándose en trayectos.

An intimate perception,

generates multiple probabilities,

Trying  journeys.

Al final del camino ocurre una nueva historia,

la creatividad siempre propone nuevas tonalidades.

La artista logra que nos cuestionemos y nos propone seguir indagando,

en lo alternativo,

en aquello que nos permite seguir pensando.

At the end of the road a new story takes place,

creativity always proposes new tonalities.

The artist manages to make us question and continue investigating,

in the alternative,

in what allows us to continue thinking.

Algunos rastros son visibles y nos permiten continuar

siguiendo la pista de su obra.

Lo que está por venir lo construiremos nosotros.

Some traces are visible and allow us to continue

following the trail of her work.

What is  yet to come will be built by us.
